Little Greene unveils the ‘New Colours of England’
The New Little Greene Colours of England Colour Card has been unveiled.
A ‘New Vision for Interior Neutrals’ has inspired the September launch of the New Colours of England Colour Card from Little Greene,one of the fastest growing brands in interior design.
Based on the most sought after shades in the Little Greene ranges and including a number of newly developed colours , the updated palette represents a harmonious fusion of classic colours for a contemporary environment.
The 128 shade collection is a versatile and balanced mix of neutrals and bright accent colours. 60 neutral tones, range from whites and off whites through creams, stones and muted yellows to greys.
In line with Little Greene’s strong environmentally-aware principles, all the neutral colours are based on naturally occurring pigments and minerals, which gives them an exceptionally organic appearance.

Managing Director David Mottershead expands on the development of the colour card: “We wanted to enable customers to make their colour choices with more confidence. In addition, by clearly setting out the basic colours, we have been able to demonstrate the variation of colour that would have been used in historic buildings”.

144. Attic II
A darker and more complex version of Silt (40), arresting schemes are made using colours from this group
131. Aged Ivory
Beautiful toned down version of a middle yellow – can be considered a stone colour
133. Custard
Gorgeous brighter yellow neutral – brings brightness and life to a scheme
132. Chamois
Warm and vibrant neutral used often with stone and natural textiles
130. Joanna
The palest of taupes, created for us by Joanna, a warm and easy white for many schemes
142. Mushroom
The classic gentle interior colour – neutral with a hint of red oxide for warmth
146. Old Paper II
A lighter version of the original colour, by popular request
145. Pelt
Deep warm and charming brown colour, can be used on large surfaces to great effect
143. Rolling Fog
A beautiful warm neutral – used historically as a white with darker colours
