Surfaces previously treated with oil-based paint should be lightly abraded before painting..

Application

Stir well before use. Ready for use by brush, roller or airless spray. On porous surfaces up to 5% water may be added to assist application. On very porous surfaces e.g. plaster up to 25% water may be necessary. Two coats over a suitably primed surface are recommended for maximum protection.

Equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after use.

Precautions

Always read the can label before use. Do not apply to surfaces below 5°C or if there is a risk of heavy rain or frost during application or drying.

It is impossible these days to get a satin or eggshell paint for exterior woodwork in dark grey. Not even Dulux at B&Q using their colour mixing service can supply anything more than white, black, red and a few others horrible shades. I searched fruitlessly through the Internet. Then, imagine my delight at finding Little Greene’s enormous colour selection for exterior eggshell just half a mile from my (sanded down) front door. “Thank you” is unsufficient but comes from the bottom of my heart!

Thanks for your lovely comments Kevin,
I’m so glad you found our range useful.

We’ve just recently set up a page with our grey paint colours, and we hope to complete the colour spectrum very soon!

    Take care,

    Katrina
